Description of Work
UMX was contracted to make repairs to the concrete bull rail which required saw cutting 6’’ beyond damaged concrete, chipping a minimum of 1’’ around all exposed rebar, and prepping concrete for forming and pouring repair area with 6000psi marine-grade concrete mix. UMX also replaced the composite fender system (Sea Timber) and completed repairs to damaged piling and hardware.
UMX provided the following services for this project:
- Forming and pouring concrete to spec, which included added bonding agents, marine paint, structural concrete forms, etc.
- Submitting rigging plan
- Crane operations, rigging, directing, etc.
- Strategic placement drilling and cutting of composite marine fender (Sea Timber)
